Table for Two: The Story Behind the Shot
Hi everyone! Welcome to the first in series of short articles that offer a little insight into the photos I’ll be releasing as NFTs on Opensea via the Polygon chain. You can see al lower resolution, watermarked image here and purchase the high resolution, non-watermarked NFT in my Travel Photographer collection. Here’s the story behind this shot:

Table for Two is a simple photograph of outdoor furniture on a balcony in Favara, Italy. But to me, it means so much more than just the idea of sharing a romantic outdoor coffee. I took this photo while on my fourth wedding anniversary trip with my wife. It is the last anniversary we celebrated before the pandemic (we’ve passed number six now). So when I look at this photo, I remember the entire weekend: wandering the streets of downtown Favara, staying at the beautiful Alba Palace Hotel, and eating at the extravagant (yet affordable) Le Traveggole.
Did I mention all of this was within walking distance of our apartment (which we also haven’t seen since before the pandemic)? We didn’t have a car yet, so we decided to take a fancy staycation in our home city.
So really, this photo reminds me of love, home, and better days to come. I hope knowing the story behind the shot helps you feel those same things when you look at the photo.
